White Christmas!

Well, Sawyer got to experience his first White Christmas in Texas this year! Who would have known that it was going to snow so much? Snow was not the only thing that Sawyer got to enjoy this Christmas. Enjoy the following post (its a long one!) to see what Sawyer did this Christmas Holiday.
Christmas Eve we went to Nana and Papa Heberlein's house for dinner.

Sawyer showed Daddy the Santa Claus on the stairs.

Sawyer got to spend time with his Auntie Pat, Uncle Lou and Cousin Joey.

Sawyer opened his gifts from them. He got some really neat things!

His favorite thing was the pair of Polo Shoes!

Sawyer got all bundled up and went out in the snow!

As you can tell by his face, he loved it!

He got even more bundled up to go out in the blizzard in the front yard.

I dont think he could even move, he was wrapped up so tight!

It was a blizzard out there!

Christmas Morning, Mommy & Daddy & Sawyer opened presents at our house. When I went to get him out of his crib that morning, I said "Merry Christmas Sawyer" and he said "Santa!"

Sawyer got way too many things for Christmas. Here he is trying on his rain boots!

He really liked them!

Opening his Elmo remote control. He loves it!

He loves pressing the buttons on that thing!

His Elmo Cell Phone. I think this was his overall favorite present. He has played with it so much!

Calling someone on his cell phone

Elmo!

Testing out his new backpack.

Fits pretty good!

After we opened presents at our house, we went to Nana and Papa Heberlein's house to open presents there. Sawyer was very good at delivering gifts to everyone! Here he is delivering his Uncle Chris a present!

Helping Nana open her gift.

Mama and Sawyer opening one of his many presents from Nana & Papa.

He got Elmo Slippers!

Looking at Daddy's Cowboy pajama pants! He loves anything that has to do with Cowboys!

After we opened presents at Nana & Papas house, we picked up Gigi and headed towards Grandma & Grandpa Switzers house. It was a long drive because of the ice!

Sawyer got a very big horsie from his Grandpa Chet. He LOVED riding on it!

It is staying at their house, because our house in not big enough to keep it! Maybe when we get a bigger house!

Sawyer also got some real cowboy boots. How great!

He also got an electric guitar. He loves that thing! He plays it, and he also pushes it around like a vacuum!

The next day, we went to the Switzer's lakehouse to exchange presents with all of the extended family. Sawyer had fun opening more gifts!

Sharing his new car with his cousin Jonas.

Cuddling with Mommy

Playing with cousin Julia's new broom.

Sitting on the couch next to Mommy like a big boy!

When we got home that night, Sawyer played with some of his toys. He loved the Elmo slippers, but as you can tell by his face, he didnt love wearing them!

He sure loves Elmo though.

Practicing with his guitar. Of course his sippy cup with milk is nearby.

Sunday, Nana & Papa came over for a little bit to see all of Sawyer's new toys. Nana & Sawyer read some of his new books together.

Sawyer had a great time as always. He had a great Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Week Activities

Sawyer has been enjoying lots of fun activities this week as we get ready for Christmas! We have been busy doing lots of things as a family!
Friday night, Mommy & Daddy took Sawyer to Olive Garden for a yummy dinner!
Sawyer liked coloring with the crayons

He tried to eat the crayons

But he did a great job coloring with them too!

Daddy helped color

Sawyer had Cheese Ravioli for dinner and he laughed when he had to get all cleaned up!

Monday was the big day to meet Santa, as you have already seen in a previous post. We took a trip to the Galleria in Dallas, it was beautiful!

Sawyer in front of the HUGE Christmas tree!

Pressing Santa's button that changed all the Christmas Tree lights from Red to Green. He liked pressing the button of course!

Pointing to Santa while we were in line

This picture is AFTER the Santa meltdown. He still had a tear on his face, but was happy to be in Mommy's arms and away from the scary Santa.

One last peek at Santa before we left.

Tuesday night, Mommy & Daddy took Sawyer to a UNT Basketball Game!

Sawyer wore his Mean Green sweatsuit!

He cheered for the team!

Such a good boy

When Sawyer started getting restless, Mommy and Sawyer took a walk around the outside hallways of the Superpit. Sawyer found a PomPom, which created much entertainment. Every few steps, he would stop and clean the floor with the PomPom. Needless to say, we left the PomPom there, we did not bring it home with us!

Sawyer had a fun time at the game! Now it is almost time for Christmas!!!!
