New family member......

No, not the baby yet! We have a new doggie staying with us named Cali. She is a Jack Russel Terrier. She is really cute and has ALOT of energy. The first few days at our house were very rough, but things have gotten alot better. Abby and Scout have now decided that they might actually enjoy having this new dog live at our house. They were pretty unsure at first. Abby still has a hard time sharing her food with this new family member, but she is getting better about it. All three of them are enjoying our big back yard, which makes me realize that a nice backyard is a must-have feature in whatever house we buy next. Here are some pics of the pups......

Baby Shopping!

Well, I made my first trip to Babies R Us this weekend. All I can say is....wow. Its an entire store, (well actually its a warehouse) dedicated to selling only baby stuff. I have never seen so much stuff in my life. Its pretty overwhelming. Luckily, my parents had already made one trip and had done alot of research online and had some ideas about what would be good to get. We also had an awesome sales guy who spent several hours with us and gave us lots of good information. I started my registry and Im pretty excited about it. Im not near done with it, I will have to make a few more trips to get everything picked out. But we did pick out some major things....and here they are!

Our crib bedding is called "Starlight" by Wendy Bellissimo. Its really really pretty in person. The colors are blue, green, yellow, and white.

Baby Switzer Is On The Way!

Hello to all of our friends and family! We have created this website to have a space to share pictures and videos and happenings in the Switzer household. And now is the perfect time, since we are about to welcome a new member to our family! Our first child will be arriving sometime in late June or early July of this summer. We know he is a boy, but we dont have a name for him yet! For now we will just call him Baby Switzer.

We found out that we were expecting on October 30th, 2007, the day before Halloween! We did not find out that it was a boy until February of 2008. Aaron was very happy to find out it was a boy, since he predicted it way back during our January 3rd sonogram. The doctor could not confirm it was a boy at that time, but Aaron was convinced that it was.

Abby and Scout are in for some big changes, as they have always been our "babies". With the arrival of Baby Switzer, I am sure that will change slightly. For now, they are getting all of our attention as we enter the last few months before the baby gets here.
