Lots of Fun

Sawyer has been having lots of fun lately. We love to spend time outside and mow the yard and driveway with the bubble mower. We also love to decorate the driveway with chalk. There is nothing better!

This past weekend while Mommy was gone for 3 days at a dance competition, Sawyer and Daddy drove out to Walnut Bend to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a day. Sawyer had a blast!

Fun Surprise!

Sawyer had a surpise waiting for him at Nana & Papa's house this week! A fun summertime play toy! Its a half sandbox, half water play toy. He LOVED it!

Go Rangers!

We took Sawyer to his first Rangers game on Friday night! He got all dressed up in his baseball gear and was ready to go! He kept saying "baseball game is coming soon!"

We played bubbles in the driveway while we waited for Daddy to get home from work.

Sawyer did have a hard time staying still. He wanted to get up and run around. Of course, that was not possible, so we kept switching between Mommy and Daddy's laps. Then eventually, Mommy put Sawyer in the stroller and rolled him around the concourse for a little while.

He had a great time. We didnt make it through the whole game, we left at the bottom of the 6th, because he was getting very sleepy. But we had a great time!

I definately want to do it again! I think Sawyer does too!

Happy Easter!

We have had an eventful Easter Weekend. Sawyer has had so much fun! This is the first year he has understood that "the easter bunny is coming". This is a long post, with lots of pics, but we did alot this weekend and had to document it!

Friday, Sawyer and Mommy baked some Easter cupakes. Sawyer was very eager to be the first to taste them. He was very excited about his cupcake!

Friday night, Sawyers Grandma & Grandpa came over to give him his easter gifts. He loved the elmo blocks that you can build a real Elmo!

He also loved the pinwheel that was in his basket.

He got lots of nice things, including some elmo and cookie monster jammies!

Saturday, Sawyer went to the Switzer lakehouse to celebrate with all of his cousins! He was ready to participate in his first real Easter egg hunt. Last year he was there during the hunt, but he stayed inside his stroller. This year, he got to participate!

Sunday morning, Mommy could hardly wait to put out his Easter basket. Here is everything he got. His basket and gifts included a Bubble Lawn Mower, Handy Manny Truck, Eeyore stuffed animal, sidewalk chalk, bubble wand, carrot baseball bat and ball, 3 books, flip flops, and a stuffed lamb.

Sawyer was very happy, but only after he got some pancakes and milk.

Of course, we had to get it out and play with it. Daddy showed him how to work it. We had fun with it, crashing it everywhere! That thing will go FAST! It was speeding across the room and crashing into the walls!

He also loved the baseball bat and ball (shaped like a carrott, lol). We did play with the bubble lawn mower on the driveway for a little while, but Mommy messed up when putting in the bubbles and we had a bubble spill everywhere. So we will have to get the lawnmower working correctly another day!

Sunday after church, we went over to Nana and Papa Heberleins house for lunch. Sawyer had his own private easter egg hunt since he is the only little one on our side of the family!

Sawyer hunted for eggs and he got alot since he did not have to compete with his cousins this time. He did a great job gathering eggs! Nana and Papa also got him a Mickey Mouse basketball and a Bubble Gun! He loved them!
