Future Artist?

Sawyer attended his first Art Class today. The City of Denton has lots of activities you can sign up for, so Mommy & Sawyer signed up for the "Messy Mitts" Art Class for 2-4 year olds. Sawyer had a blast. Above, he is posing below the fish he made. His is the blue and green fish.

Here he is reaching for his fish. He also got to fill a plastic fish with different colored sand, and also do a sand drawing with glue. We had to leave the fish on the board to dry and will get to take it home next time. I am proud of my little artist!

Fun Fall Times

We are really enjoying our September. Saturday night, we went to the UNT Football Game at Fouts Field.

They had so much fun.

They decided to "clean" the stands with their pom poms. They were very serious about their work.

Rain Rain (dont) Go Away

Sawyer enjoyed some time outside in the rain this morning! He wore his rainboots and loved splashing in puddles! He wanted to stay out there all day!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great Labor Day Weekend!

On Sunday, we spent the day at the Switzer Lakehouse. Sawyer enjoyed a day of swimming in the lake, he had so much fun!

We also celebrated all the September birthdays. Sawyer LOVES singing Happy Birthday now.

Monday, we went swimming at Nana and Papa Heberlein's pool.

After swimming, we had a wonderful Labor Day meal.

Sawyer likes to wear his Cowboy hat everywhere now.

Sawyer got to spend lots of time with family this weekend! He is a lucky boy!

Big Boy

Sawyer is growing into such a wonderful big boy. Of course, he will always be Mama's "baby", but he is growing and doing new things every day! One of his new things is he loves drinking through a straw! I know it seems simple, but its a big accomplishment for us! Now if we forget the sippy cup at home, its not the end of the world! We can just order a drink with a straw! Yay!
