Little Gym

On Saturday, Sawyer and Mommy attended a free trial class at The Little Gym in Denton. It was a "parent-child" class that was 45 minutes long, full of fun, exercise, gymnastics, songs and games. Sawyer loved it. He didnt want to leave the place! I had to carry him out kicking and screaming!
Here is Sawyer with his teacher, Miss Jill. She was really good! He looks unhappy in this picture because this was right before we left and he was not happy about that.

Sawyer got a little happier when he got to eat the sucker that they gave him for taking the class.

He has been talking about it alot, so Mommy has to decide if we want to go back again for more classes! We will see!

To Infinity and Beyond

At our house, Sawyer is always finding something to do. There is never a dull moment.
He can.......sing songs into his microphone.

He can...... climb into his Toy Chest (on a regular basis) and visit all of his stuffed animals.

He can........read a book.

He can.......laugh and smile!!!

BUT, most recently, Sawyer's FAVORITE thing to do is.........
Watch Toy Story (both 1 & 2)

Sawyer is now the proud owner of a Woody and Buzz doll. He was given the Woody doll as a gift. His first remark was, "I need Buzz". LOL. So few days later, he was given a Buzz from his Grandpa. This boy isnt loved is he?

Buzz or Woody may be options for this year's Halloween costume. We will see. In the meantime......To Infinity and Beyond!!!!

Go Cowboys!

Last night, Mommy & Sawyer were very lucky and got to visit Cowboys Stadium! One of Mommy's dance students Kaitlin was recently picked to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, and we were invited to a special "Friends and Family" preview of the DCC! It was awesome!
Sawyer LOVED watching the girls dancing. Every time a dance was over, he would scream "Again!"

After the show, we got to go down on the field to visit with the cheerleaders. Sawyer took this as an opportunity to RUN from endzone to endzone several times!!!!

People were saying, "there goes little tony romo!"

Look at those eyes.....touching something he knew he wasnt supposed to be touching :)

Sawyer took some time from his field-running to see our special cheerleader Kaitlin. He gave her a hug and talked with her. What a sweet moment.

He will hopefully thank me for these pictures when he is older!

He loved Kaitlin.

Sawyer also got his picture taken with Crystal, who Mommy used to dance with.

Yes, Sawyer is SCREAMING because I had interupted his field-running time. I just wanted a picture of us together!

One more try. Look how sweaty he is. He was dripping wet from all the running. Mommy is sweaty too from chasing him! It was an awesome experience and Sawyer already told me he wants to go back, so I guess we will have to try and get tickets so we can see Kaitlin cheer at a game!!!

Where Did Summer Go?

Things have been very busy around the Switzer house, and I have not had much time to update our blog! Sawyer has been having fun, as always. I would say he is your typical 2-year-old. He is laughing, talking, running, dancing and playing everywhere. I know every parent thinks their own child is smart, but Sawyer really seems to be picking up on alot of things at a young age. Numbers, letters, colors, shapes, words, ect. He is a little sponge that soaks up everything! Sometimes I dont even have to teach him something, he will overhear it or see it on a tv program or movie and will just retain the knowledge! He has been obsessed with dolphins and whales ever since our trip to Sea World and keeps asking to go back. Also, he watched "Toy Story" for the first time recently and is VERY into it. We literally watched it about 15 times in 5 days, and I am not exagerating. We are loving every minute together!
Sawyer loves being outside. Unfortunately, it has been so hot, we have been forced to stay inside. Here are a couple of shots of him enjoying being outside and playing with chalk.
Mommy (with the help of Sawyer's Grandma) put up a growth chart tree in the playroom. Its awesome!

Sawyer with his Grandpa Switzer. Notice how he crossed his legs the same?

Exhausted after playing so hard everyday. Its hard work being a 2-year-old!
