Yesterday, Sawyer went with Mommy and Nana while we went shopping. He was such a good boy! He is so well behaved! We stopped for lunch at Olive Garden, where Sawyer enjoyed a yummy lunch of Cheese Ravioli and Milk to drink. He colored with crayons for the first time! It was so much fun!
Last night, we visited Sawyer's Great Grandmother Gigi's new apartment in Sanger. Sawyer had a blast, as always. He played football and was really good at it!

Today, after church, we went to Nana and Papa Heberlein's house to celebrate all of the September birthdays in the family. Mommy, Daddy & Papa all have September birthdays. We had a nice lunch on the back patio.

Sawyer got sweaty and his hair got all crazy. He was having a blast banging on the patio table. Auntie Pat was banging the table with him and he thought it was hilarious!

This weekend we mourned the loss of Sawyer's Great-Aunt Sherry Muir. She loved Sawyer and we are so glad she got to share in the first year of his life, and was able to attend his first birthday party in July. Sawyer got all dressed up for her funeral on Sunday. He stayed in the nursery and played with his Great-Grandma Gigi. He also picked that day to say "gigi" for the first time. Here he is all dressed up in his big boy clothes.
I am sure Gigi was thrilled he has now learned how to say her name.

Daddy, Sawyer & Mommy - September 2009
Sawyer enjoyed some yummy Cheerios for breakfast this morning. Usually we eat breakfast in our high chair in the kitchen, but today we decided to have a casual breakfast on the carpet while we played with Sawyer's toys and books. He loved getting to reach into the Cheerios box and grab some Cheerios. He made a big mess, but thats okay!
Sunday, we went to Great Uncle Richard & Aunt Sherrys house to celebrate the 'September' birthdays in the family. Daddy, Mommy and GreatGrandmommie all have September birthdays.
Sawyer enjoyed the yummy cake.
He also rode on the rocking horse. He played trains with his cousins, but I didnt get any pictures of that! He loved the trains though.

On Monday, we took both Sawyer and Daddy to get their hair cut. Here is Sawyer before the haircut. He was getting shaggy!
During the haircut. He looks sad in these pictures, but he wasnt sad at all. He sat pretty still and watched the lady who was cutting his hair.
The final product! Sawyers new haircut looks great! He is all trimmed up and looks super cute!
After the haircut, we went and had a cook-out at Nana and Papa's house. Sawyer got some new tennis shoes from his Nana, he tried them on and they seemed to help him walk! Of course, I forgot to take pictures, but we had alot of fun. Sawyer is napping now because he is exhausted from his weekend! We hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend!
Today, Mommy bought Sawyer a toothbrush and some baby toothpaste. We brushed Sawyer's teeth (all 2 of them) for the first time tonight. He kept trying to lick the toothbrush with his tougue. But he actually let me do it, and I got some good brushing in. Here he is playing with his new toys and attempting to brush his own teeth.
