Update

Sawyer will be 12 weeks old tomorrow. It's hard to believe that he is almost 3 months old! Where has the time gone? He is such a good baby. We are so lucky to have such a happy, healthy boy. Here are some of the things he is currently doing:
Smiling alot!
Laughing!
Holding his head up by himself for a little bit
Getting attached to certain toys and stuffed animals and having conversations with them
Always wanting to be held by Mommy
Opening eyes wide and staring at Daddy
Burrowing his head in Mommy's neck when he is tired
Staring at his hands for several minutes at a time
Attempting to shove his hand in his mouth whenever possible
Crying loudly when he wants to eat

He is also enjoying bathtime much more, and also enjoys getting cuddled up in his towel after a bath. He is such a joy!

2 Month Old Doctor Visit

Sawyer had his 2-month old doctor visit today. He weighed in at 9.6 pounds and now measures 22 1/2 inches long. He is in the 10th percentile for weight and the 30th percentile for height. So, he is a small boy, but we already knew that. :)

He got all of his immunizations and he cried. He was a sad, sad boy. But mommy gave him some infant tylenol and he seems to be feeling better as he starting smiling at her again just a little bit ago. He is napping now.

He doesnt have to go back to the doctor again until he is 4 months old! So we will go back again in November!

Labor Day Weekend 2008

Sawyer had his first Labor Day Weekend! We spent Sunday at church, and then went to the Switzer's Lakehouse for the day. On Monday, we spent some time at Nana and PopPop Heberlein's house. Here are some pictures from the weekend!
