Summer's Gone!

Well Summer is officially over since Sawyer starts pre-school TOMORROW! He will be attending Kindergarten Prep 2 days a week. Be praying for me because I am already teary thinking about being away from him! Since I have done a terrible job blogging this summer, here are a bunch of pictures from the last 2 months. I couldnt fit everything into one post, so this is the first of a few to get us completely updated.

 Brother Sister love

Is that a monkey below or is that Sawyer hanging on Grandpa's leg?

I love catching them in sweet moments together like this.

Sawyer had his 4 year check up with Dr Day this summer. Poor baby had to get 4 shots! Sawyer measured 39 1/2 inches tall, and weighed 35 pounds.
Savannah also got to start learning how to brush her teeth!

Good thing she has a big brother who can help!

Of course our summer was filled with lots of swimming at the pool!
Sweet siblings after church one Sunday.

We also visited Chuck E Cheese for the first time! It was a hit!

Lots of playtime indoors since this summer it has been HOT outside!

It will take a few more posts to get caught up, but we had so much fun this summer and I cant believe its over!

Sawyer's LEGO Party!

Sawyer celebrated his 4th birthday with a LEGO themed party at our house! It was so much fun! I had so much fun decking everything out with the LEGO theme! Above is the cake that Nana made! It was so awesome and yummy too! I got LEGO Brick candles online and added them to the cake!
We had gumballs in primary colors and also dot candy for the guests to take home!
Sawyer also had a LEGO themed crown to wear, but he was not very interested in wearing it!
The table! I was really happy with how it turned out! We used a bright yellow tablecloth and then spray painted bubble wrap a bright green color so it looked like the LEGO green base boards. Then I scattered huge LEGO confetti all around and added polka dot balloons in the primary colors.
We did LEGO Lemonade in Mason Jars and used primary color cupcake liners and straws to complete the look. They were so cute!
I ordered the Happy Birthday Banner off of Etsy. It was simple and cute!
I downloaded some LEGO printables and displayed them with different activities around the house. We had a 'Guess How Many Legos in this Jar" game where the guests got to guess! It was very popular and the winner was Wanda who was off by only one Lego! Pretty impressive!
We also had a 'Draw Your Own Lego Character" station set up for the kids (and adults) to color their own Lego man!
Daddy built a LEGO house to put the utensils in. I found Yellow Square plates and Blue Polka Dot napkins at Target.
The front door had a sign made by Nana to welcome guests to the party (made of LEGOS of course!)
Of course Sawyer had a LEGO shirt to wear! I got it off Etsy!
 Ready for his party!

Savannah had a girlie LEGO shirt too of course!

Some of these pictures are blurry! Its all we have!

Hiding under the table. Silly Sawyer!
The birthday boy needs lemonade too!
 Savannah loves LEGOS too!
