Outside Fun

Last weekend we decided to have a garage sale. Sawyer loved it because he loves being outside and the garage and driveway are his new favorite places to play. Mommy set up an area where Sawyer played with toys and watched movies. He had a great time and was very friendly to all of the people who came to the garage sale!
Daddy worked in the yard one day while the garage sale was going on and Sawyer wanted to help!

We are excited for Spring and are excited about getting to spend more time outside!

Spring Break!

Things have been so busy around our house lately, that I have hardly had time to post here. We are all very happy that Spring Break has arrived, so we can spend some time home together.
Sawyer has already been on several wagon rides, and Spring break has just started!

Counting all the things he wants to do over Spring Break.....

Of course, Gon Gon the monkey had to come along for a ride in the wagon!

This weekend Sawyer took a wagon ride with Uncle Evan! Looks like fun!

Enjoying the outdoors!
We hope everyone has a great Spring Break!!!

Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street?

Last night, Sawyer & Mommy went with Kinsey and Tucker to see Sesame Street Live at the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie!

Although they do not look excited in this picture, both boys were extremely excited! I think they were unhappy right here because we were making them stand still for a picture, Sawyer was wanting to run around everywhere!

Sitting in their seats before the show. If they had been a few pounds heavier, the seats wouldnt have been folding up on them. They mostly stood in front of their seats and danced, or sat on Mommys lap.

Standing up and dancing. We were cracking up because they were dancing and laughing so much. It was absolutely hilarious!

Mommy and Sawyer. It was hard to get the boys pictures because they were looking around and excited. Sawyer had so much fun at the concert. Mommy thinks it is the most fun he has had at anything so far! He LOVED seeing Elmo and all his other Sesame Street characters!

Here is Sawyer in the last couple of weeks.

We are having so much fun right now. Sawyer is definately obsessed with Sesame Street and Elmo. He asks and talks about the characters all the time. Mommy is so glad she got to take him to the concert!

Big Boy

Next on Mommy's list is to teach Sawyer how to feed himself with a fork and spoon. He does this occasionally, but mainly uses his hands to feed himself. So, my next project for this big boy is to teach him how to eat properly! We tried it at dinner last night and he did a great job! He ate about 75% of his dinner with the fork instead of his hands! And he had fun doing it! I am so proud of him! Look at that smile!

19 Months Old Today

My baby is 19 months old today. That means he is closer to being two than he is to being one. Where is the time going? I love every moment with my precious boy. Our days are filled with laughs, smiles, tickles and hugs (along with a few minor temper tantrums of his that happen every once in a while...normal for this age). But the majority of the time, Sawyer is a HAPPY boy. I am so thankful to God for my precious little boy. He is my whole world! Who can resist that sweet grin of his?

Such a Ham

Sawyer is such a little ham. He says and does funny things every day. He is definately developing a little personality. Right now he is obsessed with Sesame Street. He begs to watch it multiple times a day. And even when he is not watching it, he is asking about Elmo and Abby and Big Bird (and all the rest of the characters). We are loving every minute with our precious Sawyer! Enjoy the pics from the last few weeks.

18 Month Old Checkup

Sawyer visited Dr Day today for his 18 month check up. He did very well. He did not have to get any shots today, which was great! Sawyer now is 31 3/4 inches tall, which puts him in the 30th percentile for height. He now weighs 25 pounds, which puts him in the 40th percentile for weight. So he is still small in both areas, but thats okay! Dr Day was happy to finally find some teeth in Sawyers mouth, since their "delayed eruption". He said more teeth are on the way! They normally say that they need to be off the pacifier by 18 months, but because of Sawyers delayed teeth, he has to be off by the time he is 2! So he gets 6 extra months! Yay! I dont think it will be too hard, I will start transitioning him soon. He does love his "Paci". Overall, the visit went very well and he doesnt have to go back for 6 months!

Hello 2010

Sawyer has been very busy since Christmas. We have seen lots of friends and family and have been having lots of fun everyday. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.
Sawyer and Tucker got together to play and exchange gifts. Unfortunately, this was the only picture I got of them! They would just not pose for us!

When it snowed again the week after Christmas, Sawyer enjoyed the view from the front window. This was the day that the snow just started pouring down from the sky, it was crazy!

This picture was before the snow had covered the ground, but it was coming down pretty fast!
On New Years Eve, we went to visit Sawyer's Great-Aunt Pat and Great-Uncle Lou. Sawyer's cousin Katie and her fiance Estuardo were there too. Sawyer found a little chair that was just his size!

He fit in the chair perfectly!

The next week, Sawyer made lots of calls on Daddy's cell phone.

He also has spent lots of time rocking in his rocking chair.

On the Sunday after New Years, we went to Gigi's house to exchange Christmas presents with Great-Great Uncle Don and Great-Great Aunt Lila. Sawyer went for a ride on Lila's electric chair. He loved it!

Gigi showed him the candles that lit up. He thought those were pretty cool! (not real candles)

Of course he loved opening more presents! What little boy doesnt love opening presents?
