Yummy Watermelon

This morning Sawyer went to his friend Phoenix's birthday party! He turned 2! It was a swim party at a community pool. It was a really fun party! Sawyer had fun swimming and then he enjoyed some yummy watermelon. So yummy and good!

Summer Fun

Sawyer has been very busy having fun this summer. Here are some pictures of his fun adventures from the last week.

Friday night, Sawyer got to meet some horses for the first time at Grandma and Grandpa Switzer's house.

Sunday was Fathers Day. Here is Daddy and Sawyer on Fathers Day. Sawyer loves playing with Daddy's cell phone!

Tuesday, Mommy and Sawyer went swimming again at Nana's and Papa Heberleins's house. He had fun of course! He went underwater for the first time!

Later that night, Sawyer needed a bath of course! He LOVES his bathtime!

Lots of Fun

Sawyer had alot of fun yesterday! Kinsey and Tucker came over during the day to play, and the boys had so much fun! They are getting to the age where they really can have fun together!
Of course, when it came time to take a picture, they did not want to sit still or pose.

Later in the afternoon, we made the drive out to Walnut Bend to visit Grandma and Grandpa Switzer. Sawyer had fun playing!

First Haircut

Mommy got her hair cut today, and Sawyer came along to get his FIRST haircut! Daddy came with us too. Here are some pictures from the event.

Sawyer did very well. He did not cry or anything. He just kept turning his head to look at Techy, the lady who was cutting his hair. He was facinated by her.

Where did my baby boy go???

My baby boy is now a big boy! This is Sawyer this morning, standing up at the doggies gate. He just pulls himself up there and laughs at the dogs! He will be walking any day now. What happened to my little tiny baby who we swaddled and did everything for? Now he is crawling and moving around so fast! It's hard to keep up with him!

Our Start to Summer.....

The start to our summer has been very fun and very busy! Here are some pictures from the last week!

This morning after church, we went for a quick meal at Nana and Papa Heberlein's house. Sawyer enjoyed showing off his crawling skills!

Nana and Papa refinished 2 rocking chairs from when Mommy was little. The one Sawyer is rocking in below belonged to Uncle Chris. That chair will stay at Nana and Papa's house. The other one (not pictured) was brought to our house for Sawyer to enjoy! It belonged to Mommy when she was a baby!

Friday, Mommy brough Sawyer a present home from her grocery shopping trip...a musical monkey! He loved it!

Of course Sawyer likes anything that has to do with monkeys.

Friday night, we made a quick stop at Gigi and Ki's house for some cake, since it was Ki's 84th birthday! Sawyer brought his monkey with him of course.

Earlier in the week, Mommy had her end-of-the-year dance Recital with Lifesong. Things got crazy and she did not get to take hardly any pictures.

So...you can see that we have all been busy! We all have the next week off, so we are looking forward to staying home and relaxing!!!

New favorite thing....

This is Sawyers new favorite thing to do...........

He is getting really good at standing on his own! Walking is just around the corner!!!

11 Months Old

Today Sawyer is 11 months old!

Its hard to believe that our little monkey will be turning ONE very soon! Mommy is getting so excited about planning his birthday party! Its going to be a "Curious George" Monkey-themed party! We cant wait!

Mommy has been reading Sawyer all of the Curious George books. There are 15 different books with all of the fun stories. We read a new book every few days.

Sawyer is now crawling all over the place! He is a very fast little guy! You have to really watch him and cant take your eyes off of him for even a second, because you never know what he will be getting into!

He is also pulling himself up to stand. He stand up in his crib, his play pen, on the couch, at the doggy gate, on the windowsill, and pretty much anywhere he can!

Sawyer is so much fun. He is so happy and such a loving baby. He loves to cuddle and give Mommy and Daddy lots of love. He is such a special boy!
